Prior Experience

2003 to Present – President and CEO of SP Industries, a leading designer, manufacturer and marketer of laboratory research and process equipment, glassware and precision glass components, and configured-to-order manufacturing equipment.

1993 to 2003 – Segment President for SPX Corporation, based in Charlotte, NC. SPX is a $5 billion, multi-industry company with segments which include industrial services, technology and communications, flow technology and service solutions.

1992 to 1993 – Executive VP and CFO at Continuum Workflow Technology, Inc.,

1988 to 1992 - President of Photon Technology International in South Brunswick, NJ

1987 to 1998 – Vice President, Finance and Administration and Chief Financial Officer of Capital Cities/ABC, Inc., a diversified publishing and market research business with revenues of $300 million.

1978 to 1987 – Several senior accounting positions at Becton Dickinson.

1973 to 1978 – Senior accountant and consultant at Price Waterhouse.

Also presently, Chuck is the Chairman of SP Industries, Inc. and O'Currance Teleservices, Inc.

Expertise

Chuck has extensive background with multi-industry start ups and restructuring as well as global experience in China, Asia and Europe. Areas of particular expertise include: mergers and acquisitions and strategic leadership.

Education

Chuck received his M.B.A. from Columbia University and a B.S./B.A. from Northeastern University, Boston. CPA - Connecticut and New Jersey. Received several post graduate certificates from Harvard University.

Chuck has one daughter and enjoys golf in his free time.

Prior Experience

2003-2005 – CEO of CLEANPAK International, Inc., the world's leading designer and manufacturer of air handling equipment for ultra clean room environments primarily for use in semi conductor and pharmaceutical manufacturing.

1989 to 2002 – Co-founder of Pacific Crest Securities, the Pacific Northwest's largest independent financial services organizations. Served as CEO and Chairman from 1996 to 2002.

1986 to 1989 – Investment banker at PaineWebber in New York and PaineWebber's Merger & Acquisitions Group in Chicago.

1982 to 1983 – Security Pacific Bank.

Erik has been an active private equity investor since 1989. In addition to Pacific Crest, Erik played an active role in guiding a number of companies as a director and an investor, including Wholesome and Hearty Foods, Applied Research, Morrow Snowboard Corporation, and CLEANPAK International, Inc. Erik is currently Chairman of JEB, Inc., is on the board of directors of Pacific Crest Securities, SP Industries, Inc., HELP, Inc., Fluid Logic, Inc., Advanced Decorative Systems, Inc., and O'Currance Teleservices, Inc.

Expertise

Over the years Erik has had direct investments and/or leadership responsibilities in industries including: financial services, consumer food products, air handling equipment, material handling, specialty chemicals, sporting goods, and plastic manufacturing. Additionally, through his leadership role at Pacific Crest, Erik has advised several high technology and communications companies in merger and acquisitions and financing transactions.

Education

Erik received his M.B.A., with honors, from Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University and a B.A. (double major) in economics and business administration, magna cum laude, from the University of Oregon. Erik is registered with the SEC and holds Series 7, 24 and 63 licenses.

Erik is married with three children and enjoys golf, tennis, and fly fishing in his free time.
